The New Yorker's A to Z of NY Food: N is for Negroni

Half way through the alphabet and I’m getting thirsty. Good thing that N IS FOR NEGRONI! Despite its playful appearance, a Negroni is not a cocktail to underestimate. Equal parts gin, sweet vermouth and Campari with ice and an orange twist, this 1919 Florentine creation has been enjoying a major resurgence of late. A Negroni is appropriate at any occasion, anywhere, anytime and if you don’t like gin, you can always order a Boulevardier which subs in bourbon. But I still have another photo to post today so I’m closing this bar tab and moving on to O. Don’t forget to share your N food/drink photo and tag with #TNYeats so the world can see! #cocktail #negroni #newyork. Photo: @jamespomerantz
