The New Yorker's A to Z of NY Food: O is for Offal

We’ve come to the end of another day of my A to Z of New York Food but one last entry until tomorrow. O IS FOR OFFAL! Offal are the oft unappreciated edible organs of animals. I for one am happy that there are more opportunities than ever to eat offal. With dwindling natural resources and growing global populations, wasting any consumable part of an animal seems ever more entitled. Thankfully, amazingly-talented chefs like @jamiebiss (pictured) of @toro_nyc are putting their hearts on plates for us and making food so good you won’t care what part of the animal it is. Have a lovely evening and sweet(bread) dreams. Share your O food/drink photo and tag with #TNYeats. #newyork #offal #food. Photo: @jamespomerantz
